"Thunder at Luetzen" is an army level wargame simulation of the opening of Napoleon's 1813 campaign in Germany. The game was first published in Strategy & Tactics magazine #99 in 1984.
The game consists of a 16 page rulebook, one 22"X34" mapsheet, 200 counters and various player aids.
Leadership and morale play an important part of the game. Combat is by strength differential. If neither the French nor Allied army is demoralized by the end of 32 game turns, the French player wins if he controls Leipzig Bridge, otherwise the Allied player wins.
