Played by the Ketchi Indians of Guatamala. The game is played on a board of 21 spaces in a straight row. Each player has five warrior pieces. The object is to attempt to capture all of the opposing warriors.
The dice and the marks between spaces are corn grains.
There are five slightly different versions, and usually people play each, one after the other. Versions are calles "aj sayil" (the ant), "aj t'iwil" (the eagle), "aj sina'anil" (the scorpion), "aj sakalil" (warrior ants) and "a k'aak'il" (fire).
