Game Previews from Nürnberg 2013: Brügge, Time 'n' Space, Oppida Romana & Praetor

• After a few days delay, during which I attended New York Toy Fair 2013 and (gasp) actually took a couple of days off, the game previews recorded at Spielwarenmesse 2013 – the annual toy and game fair in Nürnberg, Germany – continue, starting with the third Stefan Feld title being demoed at the show: Brügge from German publisher Hans im Glück, with the title being released in North America by Z-Man Games.


Board Game: Time 'n' Space
• Another title on the heavy-ish end of the gaming spectrum is Tobias Stapelfeldt's Time 'n' Space from eggertspiele, the design being a new version of Stapelfeldt's Space Dealer. Viktor Schulz from eggertspiele explains how to play and what's different with this release compared to the previous one.


Board Game Publisher: PD-Verlag
• German publisher PD-Verlag and designer Mac Gerdts go hand-in-hand, and the association continues in 2013 with the release of Oppida Romana, an involved release that includes a deck-building element.


 
• And to complete this quarter of involved game designs, we have Andrei Novac presenting his own Praetor, which will be released by NSKN Legendary Games in 2013, and which has a simulated retirement system (and its associated economic burden) to accompany a worker-placement game mechanism.
