Climb into the cockpit and recreate the gallant and unparalleled success of Chennault's famous volunteers against the invading Imperial Japanese Military in a challenging two-player WWII air-to-air combat game.
Flying Tigers allows players to assume control of either the invading Japanese or the defending Tigers and the Royal Air Force (RAF) counterparts, in a bid for control of China from 1941-1942. Tiger players must overcome a lack of intelligence, a dismal supply of spare parts and overwhelming odds to hold off and repel the Japanese. Japanese players must decide when and where to strike, work harder to outmaneuver the superior Allied planes and do whatever is necessary to further the empire.
Originally published in 1969 by Gamescience Inc and again in 1973, Lou Zocchi (Gamescience) and Derek Harris (Tupelo Game Days) have worked to rebuild this game from the ground up with new artwork, a revised combat system and optional rules that allow you to alter the course of history.
