The card game for people who love numbers (or wish they did).
EQUALS is designed to help students learn to think mathematically. Young children (7-8) might start with a simple 3-card hand like 3 + 2. The game adjusts easily to different ages and abilities. For example, here's a 7-card hand where the target number was 2: 1 2 ÷ 4 8 x 8. Notice the use of multi-digit numbers as well as a fraction. Parentheses can also be used and for serious students of mathematics the "Order of Operations" principle can be followed. There is also a solitaire version of EQUALS.
