In each round of the fast-paced, dice rolling game Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!, each player rolls their dice and scores based on who can boast the best beasts. Kingly lions are worth four points, tigers tally three points, and bears bring two points each. If you roll a blank, oh my!, that die is removed from play.
In more detail, on each turn, you roll your dice, then choose only one type of animal to count toward your score. Once you choose your scoring animal, you can re-roll the rest of your dice to see whether you can score more points that turn — but be careful as any blanks you get from re-rolling cause you to lose that die for the rest of the game. As soon as all players have lost all of their dice, the game ends and whoever has the most points wins.
