Fleet Commander: Genesis

"Become a Fleet Commander, pick your fleet, choose your weapons and enter the battle. Lead your mighty warships to victory and your name will stand as a wise strategist and an enlightened tactician."

Fleet Commander: Genesis is a space battle game for 2 to 4 players. The game is fast and aggressive; set it up in less than five minutes and play it in less than one hour! The rules are so simple and the mechanics so deep that you can teach it to young children, yet still experiment with epic tactical team battles for experienced players.

The retail edition (set for a September 2017 release date in France) of "Fleet Commander - Genesis" includes:

The equivalent of two full retail boxes of Fleet Commander: 1 - Ignition and one set of Fleet Commander: 2 - Beyond the Gate
(plus, in terms of basic ship count, a third full quota of "Ignition" ships, and half of another "Beyond the Gate" set).

  • 50 double-sided space tiles for a modular board (replacing the one piece board in Ignition)
  • 36 engraved dice (replacing the printed dice in Ignition)
  • 48 ship miniatures with double-sided base stands to distinguish four different fleets (24 Frigates, 12 Destroyers, 6 Cruisers, 6 Battleships)
  • 26 command board tiles
  • 18 special weapon tiles
  • 6 jump portal tiles
  • 60 signal tokens
  • 2 special field tiles
  • Rulebooks in French and English

The large box (45cm x 30cm x 10cm -- nearly 18" x 12" x 4") contains a vacuformed insert that holds and organizes all the 'Genesis' parts neatly and safely; and will hold all four (current) expansions comfortably for combined storage.

The Kickstarter Edition includes much more than the retail version:

  • 64 space tiles
  • 57 engraved dice
  • 78 ship miniatures (32 Frigates, 16 Destroyers, 8 Cruisers, 8 Battleships, 6 Heavy Battleships, and 8 Technical Ships)
  • KS only Campaign book
  • More tokens, boards, etc.
  • It supports a six player count
  • The first expansion: Avatar
  • The second expansion: Salvation

The Kickstarter Edition began shipping in July 2017.
