Wizard Dodgeball is a sports game covering the annual all-star game of the Interplanar Wizard Dodgeball League (IWDL). Just like the dodgeball you know, the players who don't dodge the ball are eliminated; a caught ball eliminates the thrower, and the winner is the last team left on the court — but that's just the beginning as Wizard Dodgeball allows teams to throw spells in addition to balls. Boost your team, freeze your opponents, teleport balls back to your side, and watch out for fireballs!

In the game, players are dealt a team of five wizards each, and the turn order is determined by the order of the deal. Players then select spell cards based on how many spells their team can have. Each wizard has two action points that can be spent on moving, throwing balls, casting spells, or carrying out some combination of actions. Picking up or putting down balls is a free action.

Each wizard has a physical and magical range, and physical and magical attack and dodge bonuses. The outcome of throwing/casting and dodging is handled by high roll on d6s, with ties going to the defender.
