In Voodoo Mania, players take on the role of rival witch doctors, using curses, charms, and voodoo dolls to eliminate one another. Every round is a battle of nerves, as players try to weaken opponents while avoiding becoming the next victim themselves.
Each turn, players play cards to the table to curse other players, redirect effects, or protect themselves. Some cards attach negative effects that linger, while others can trigger sudden reversals, sending curses back to their source. Because many actions target specific players, reading intentions and anticipating retaliation is just as important as the cards you hold.
Voodoo dolls play a central role. When a doll is assigned to a player, it becomes a dangerous liability—certain effects can cause immediate elimination if the wrong conditions are met. Timing when to place a doll, move it, or force someone else to deal with it is often the difference between survival and disaster.
Throughout the game, players are gradually eliminated through curses, dolls, or card effects. The game ends as soon as only one player remains and the last surviving player wins the game.
