Board Game: Arkwright
• My goodness, thirty posts of recorded game demonstrations from Spiel 2014! That's 153 videos so far in the Spiel 2014 playlist on BGG's YouTube channel, and now I'm adding another half-dozen to that list, starting with an overview of Stefan Risthaus' Arkwright from Spielworxx. Publisher Uli Blennemann seems to have a fixed pattern for his Spielworxx releases: Find a design that he loves with an emphasis on period details, release it in a small print run, then listen to the tears of gamers who can no longer find a copy because it's already sold out. Okay, that might not be his plan...

Board Game: Apocalypse Universe: Galactic Arena
• Alas I have nothing to say about Apocalypse Universe: Galactic Arena from designer Antonios Zachos and publisher Storyception Games. I wasn't in the booth when this demonstration was shot, and while I edited the game description on the BGG listing to a fair decree, my repository of knowledge of space-themed games is limited: They're set in space; they involve spaceships and most likely planets. Fuel might be a concern. Also, black holes.

Board Game: Neptun
• Dirk Henn and Queen Games have been paired together for forever, it seems, and 2014 sees a new release from the pair of them: Neptun, with players needing to fulfill their contracts in a particular order in order not to be claimed by an angry sea god.

Board Game: Cubo
Cubo, from the design team of Johannes Berger and Julien Gupta (the son of Queen Games owner Rajive Gupta), is a quick-playing dice game that was one of many dice games on hand at Spiel 2014. Amazing how it's possible to keep putting new spins on pipped dice...

Board Game: Orcs Orcs Orcs
• Queen Games' head developer Frank Thyben is the designer behind the competitive tower defense, deck-building game Orcs Orcs Orcs.

• Kristian Amundsen Østby's Escape: The Curse of the Temple was a huge hit for Queen Games at Spiel 2012, so it's not surprising to see the same game system reborn in a new setting, this being Escape: Zombie City, which I previewed in late 2013 after trying the prototype at BGG.CON 2013. Man, sometimes you forget that games aren't actually out yet despite you writing about them months ago — well, I forget. I don't know about you...
