Board Game: The X-Files
• Continuing with the game demonstrations from Gen Con 2014, we have designer Kevin Wilson showing off The X-Files, coming at some point from IDW Games and Pandasaurus Games. One of the benefits of showing off prototypes in the BGG booth at Gen Con is that when I finally post those videos four weeks after the show, the game itself still isn't available, so this video still works as a preview and isn't just me being late to the party. Phew!

Board Game: Paperback
• We also get to feature titles like Tim Fowers' Paperback, which is out in the technical sense of Kickstarter copies having been delivered to backers, but the game isn't available in the general market and the reprint isn't due until October, so preview!

Board Game: Lords & Ladies
• Jason Corace's Lords & Ladies, the 13th title in Gryphon Games bookshelf series, has the look that you'd expect from a game titled Lords & Ladies and in the game you're doing the types of things that lords and ladies do — at least according to everything that I've learned from hearing others talk about what they've read in reviews of Downton Abbey. Third-hand information can't be beat.

Board Game: Eggs and Empires
• After one interlude from a publisher representative, we're back with designers once again, this time with Matt Riddle and Ben Pinchback talking about the forthcoming Eggs and Empires from Gryphon Games:

Board Game: Mystery Rummy: Escape from Alcatraz
• Our Gryphon block and today's Gen Con 2014 round-up closes with Mike Fitzgerald talking about Mystery Rummy: Escape from Alcatraz, which he co-designed with Andrew Korson.
