The Microchip in The Wizard of Oz's Dungeon: Ravensburger's U.S. Releases in Early 2022
Board Game: Dungeons, Dice & Danger
Toy Fair New York 2022 would have taken place this past weekend, but the event was cancelled in mid-January 2022. That won't stop the release of game info, though, with many publishers that I would have seen in NYC throwing emails at me over the past couple of days.

Today we'll check out titles coming from Ravensburger, some of which I've mentioned previously in this space.

Richard Garfield's Dungeons, Dice & Danger was released by Ravensburger in Europe in January 2022, and this dungeon exploration roll-and-write game will debut in the U.S. in March 2022, with a retail price of $25.

Board Game: Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder
Board Game: Marvel: Eye Found It!
Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder is the latest release in this line, with this game allowing for play with 2-3 players who are taking on the roles of Syndrome (The Incredibles), Lotso (Toy Story 3), and Madam Mim (The Sword in the Stone). This game will debut at the U.S. retail chain Target on February 27, 2022 for $30, with the standard edition of the game hitting other retail stores later due to "ongoing global supply chain challenges", which I think is industry speak for "our boxes are on a boat somewhere and we're keeping our fingers crossed".

• Another title in the Ravensburger line-up with licensed IP is Marvel: Eye Found It!, due out in May 2022, with this being the latest entry in the Eye Found It! game line that has young players racing from one location to another while occasionally looking really close at the game board to find something.

Board Game: echoes: The Microchip
• The English-language edition of echoes: The Microchip from Matthew Dunstan and Dave Neale is due out in March 2022 and retails for $10, with this being the third title in the echoes series. Here's an overview of the setting and how to play:
Quote:
In the far future, civilization is lying in ruins, and the echoes of the past hide the tragic story of its downfall. See whether you can uncover the truth in echoes: The Microchip.

echoes is a co-operative audio mystery game. Using the free app, players listen to mysterious noises and voices that are connected to the playing material. Together they look for hints in the sound bites to bring the story parts in order and solve the case.

In more detail, your task is to assemble the 24 parts of the story in the right order; each part is represented by an object — either a game board or a card — and its associated echo. The entire story is divided into six chapters, with each chapter being represented by a game board. By scanning the objects with the app, you'll hear the echo connected with each object, and by using conversations and noises in the echo, you try to figure out which three object cards are associated with a chapter and in which order they should be placed. If you're not correct, the app will inform you which cards are incorrect or in the wrong place; if you are correct, you can listen to the entire chapter all at once — and you should since new, additional hints can then be heard.

The objects themselves also provide you with clues from time to time, so neglect no details.
The Wizard of Oz Adventure Book Game is the second game in a line that began with 2020's The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game, and I know nothing about this title other than it's a co-operative design due out in March 2022 for $30 that has players trying to complete various chapters in a "book of game boards".

• Oh, and among many other things Ravensburger is releasing a line of Minecraft jigsaw puzzles that range from 100-1,500 pieces. I have only a small image of three puzzles to share from a press release, but if you've played Minecraft, then you can probably imagine that thousands of such puzzles are possible.
