• Bernd Scholz's dice-bag building game Tharos will be the first Spielworxx release in 2021, and while game details on the BGG page are still sparse, Scholz has been publishing chapters from a fantasy novel (in English and in German) that tells the story behind Tharos.
Scholz also joined Spielworxx's Uli Blennemann to talk about the game during the publisher's ConWorxx event in early October 2020:
• Matt Wolfe's town-deconstruction and -reconstruction game Squaring Circleville will follow, with the game now being for 1-4 players instead of 2-4.
• A new addition to Spielworxx's 2021 schedule is Claude Sirois's The Smoky Valley, a sequel of sorts to his 2020 release The Grand Trunk Journey that he describes in this BGG blogpost as follows:
In the game, you are an investor during the 19th century, contributing to the standing of Griffintown as a key industrial area in North America by building and upgrading industries, producing and transforming goods, shipping goods abroad and participating in the development of the canal and the city. Of course you can focus on your own business, or maybe become Mayor? Who knows?
The game is for 2 to 4 players and plays in about 3 hours. It uses Hand management and Action points mechanics.
• Wolfram Janich's 18SX Saxony, which is now a 2-7 player game instead of 3-7, will likely close the 2021 schedule for Spielworxx, although it might switch places with The Smoky Valley.
• Aside from these "regular" releases, in 2021 Spielworxx will publish a revised edition of Peter Wichmann's Schrille Stille, a 1999 release from Zoch Verlag in which you represent a music company that's trying to promote certain acts. This new version will be for 2-5 players instead of for 3-6.
• A new version of Schmiel's Lieber bairisch sterben, first released in 1988 and previously announced as a 2020 release and then a 2021 release, is now scheduled for 2022.
• During ConWorxx, Uli Blennemann revealed that designer Andreas "ode." Odendahl is working on a new La Granja-based standalone game titled La Granja: Possessions. Odendahl talked with Blennemann about the development of this title during ConWorxx, but note that on this video, Blennemann's voice is quite muted.
Yesterday´s ConWorxx announcement was a new La Granja game (standalone) by @AndreasOdendahl for Spielworxx! Whoo-hoo! pic.twitter.com/TLSoAl2ZRZ

• In 2023(!), Spielworxx will publish Angel's Share, a design from Scott Almes. Here's a prototype of the game board for those who want to speculate on what's happening:
