Fortune and Glory: Treasure Hunters, due out in November 2013, adds more new cards, a new personal mission deck giving heroes extra bonus objectives, two new villains to fight, and four new heroes to play, "including Grant Jackson, a rough and tumble soldier of fortune, Nigel Harrington, the big game hunter, and Angel Espinoza, the daring mechanic who's ready to make her mark on the world!" A new mechanic! I know folks always get excited about new mechanics in games, so Flying Frog is smart to heed to your desires.
To tide you over until those expansions appear, FFP released the 14-card Fortune and Glory: Danger Pack 1 Supplement on April 12, 2013, with this supplement being available only through the Flying Frog website.
• Alderac's Smash Up: Awesome Level 9000 – a four faction expansion for Paul Peterson's Smash Up – reached brick and mortar stores on April 8, 2013 (and will be available through online stores on April 22), but the publisher has already released word of another four-faction expansion due out August 2013. From AEG's Facebook page: "For the first time, this set has an overall theme running through the factions. Each is distinct, with its own focus mechanically and visually, but there is a common thread that runs through all of them. Speculate away!"
• Zooloretto Würfelspiel has been picked up by Z-Man Games and Filosofia Édition for new editions in English and French, respectively. The Filosofia version has had a June 2013 release date attached to it, but no date has been announced yet for the Z-Man version.
• Z-Man Games noted on April 18, 2013 that it will release the single army expansion Neuroshima Hex! The Dancer "in the next few months".
• Designer Phil Eklund reports that High Frontier Colonization, the second edition expansion for High Frontier due out August 2013, has been sent to the printers.
• To follow up on the news that Indie Boards and Cards is making a new, Resistance-themed version of Rikki Tahta's Coup, covered yesterday on BGGN, French gaming site Tric Trac reports that Ferti will release a French-language version of the game in Q3 2013 with Seasons and Tokaido artist Naïade providing the artwork. This new version will include a new role – the Inquisitor – and additional cards to allow for play with up to eight players. (The Indie version of this game will also include the Inquisitor for those who back the Kickstarter project for the game. I'd presume that these extra cards will be available elsewhere at a later date.)
