More Stuffies, More Old OneZ, and More Rome & Roll in 2021

More Stuffies, More Old OneZ, and More Rome & Roll in 2021
TaZmania is an expansion for Martin Wallace's AuZtralia from SchilMil Games and Stronghold Games. Here's what awaits inside this tentacled exterior:
Quote:
In AuZtralia, humanity came to build a new world after a long war against the Old Ones. They failed. The old terrors were waiting for them and pushed them back to the coast. Now their only hope lies in a nearby small island, TaZmania. Will this be the promised land?

Board Game: AuZtralia: TaZmania

AuZtralia: TaZmania is a dual-map expansion for AuZtralia designed specifically for 1-2 players, or (if playing with the Revenge of the Old Ones expansion) three players. One side has a fixed map that is surveyed for resources and Old Ones, while the other side is randomized through a set of 66 terrain tiles.
• Return to the world of Jerry Hawthorne's Stuffed Fables for more adventure in Stuffed Fables: Oh, Brother!, coming in 2021 from Plaid Hat Games. Here's an overview of the setting and what's included:
Quote:
The brave stuffies from Stuffed Fables return for another round of bedtime adventures! Years after the original story, a new baby brother joins the family, bringing two toy companions of his own: Pokey the unicorn, a stalwart stuffy, and the muscular Manny, a headstrong hand-me-down action figure. With a sweet little boy to protect from the forces of the Fall, Pokey and Manny must learn the ropes from the beloved original cast and face a slate of new monsters from under the bed!

Board Game: Stuffed Fables: Oh, Brother!

The Stuffed Fables: Oh, Brother! expansion includes a new storybook, with new challenges, enemies, and fables, along with new tokens, sleep cards, and its own discovery deck to lead you through each unique adventure, but you will need components from the Stuffed Fables base game in order to play.

In addition to everything else, Pokey the Unicorn and Manny the Action Figure join the cast, adding their unique abilities to the team. Pokey doesn't equip any weapon items, but instead uses her Puffy Horn to fend off enemies. Manny, as a macho action figure, is made of strong plastic instead of the usual stuffing of other characters, so certain status conditions don't affect him as they would a typical stuffy.

Can you protect your little boy from the dangers of the supernatural fall?
Nick Shaw and Dávid Turczi's dice-rolling, empire-building game Rome & Roll will give players a few more projects to manage in 2021 thanks to the release of Rome & Roll: Gladiators, which publisher PSC Games plans to Kickstart in early 2021. Here's what you'll find in the box:
Quote:
While Rome is being rebuilt, the public demands entertainment! Emperor Nero wants you to sponsor games in the Colosseum, where gladiators will engage in thrilling battles for the enjoyment of the crowds. It's up to you to build ludi, where gladiators can be trained in one of the two competing schools, and arenas, where they can practice. You'll then assign the gladiators to the Colosseum to fight! All the excitement has also brought forth new advisors who offer enticing rewards for those who dare to bribe them...

Board Game: Rome & Roll: Gladiators

The Rome & Roll: Gladiators expansion introduces a new Colosseum sideboard, gladiator dice, new shared advisors, a neutral foreman, and new blueprints, God's Favour, and Nero's Bonus cards. Gladiators also adds a fifth asymmetric character class — the Rudiarius, a retired gladiator who has earned their freedom. A veteran of the Colosseum, the Rudiarius can call in favors with his old masters to get ahead.
Board Game: Crystal Palace
Board Game: Res Arcana
