Job summary

Main responsibilities:
• Coordinates product launches and ensures media follow up
• Drafts, writes and edits press releases
• Works with the marketing direction with media relations and the planning of press events
• Works with the marketing direction to prepare public and professional shows
• Generates content (news, interviews, columns, etc.) for the company websites and ensures integration with social networks
• Develops and maintains social network activity (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Works with the webmaster to develop the website
• Supports the customer service department

Qualifications:
• Pertinent formation in communications, public relations or similar domain
• 1-2 years experience in communications, media relations, events planning or related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet research and social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google +, etc.)
• Bilingual (French and English), written and spoken
• Ability to write original texts and summarize projects
