Many gamers on this site are prepping for BGG.CON 2015, which starts in just over two weeks with more than two thousand people signed up to play games over five days on Nov. 18-22, but not everyone will be in Dallas to play games on BGG's home turf. Me, for example, as I'll instead be flying to Tokyo to cover the upcoming Game Market (ゲムマ) event that takes place on Nov. 22, 2015. This will be my second trip to Game Market, and thanks to the presence of two assistants on site, I'll be able to record more videos and ideally get more done during the single day that the event takes place.

To help others experience Game Market from afar — or prepare for the event should you be attending as well — I've started a Nov. 2015 Tokyo Game Market Preview. At launch, this preview contains listings for 39 items, which is a nice start, I suppose, except that the Game Market website contains listings for more than four hundred stands!

Not all of those stands sell board and card games, and not all of those that do will have new offerings on hand, but still...I have zero chance of covering everything that will be on hand at TGM. Instead I'll cover as much as I can while encouraging JP designers and publishers via Twitter to complete the Japanese-language game submission forms created by Jon Power (thanks, Jon!) to ease this process.

Once on site at TGM, I'll record videos of what I can, meet lots of designers, stumble my way through conversations, hand out flyers to introduce the BGG Geek Store to other JP designers, and regret how little that I did in the time available. So much to look forward to!
