Gloomhaven: Forgotten Circles features twenty new scenarios that take place after the events of the original Gloomhaven campaign, scenarios that involve one new character class — the Aesther Diviner, depicted below — and her attempts to prevent an approaching calamity. The press release from Childres notes that the accompanying scenario book breaks up these scenarios across multiple pages "to create more dynamic and surprising encounters".
This expansion, which is co-designed by Marcel Cwertetschka and which carries a $30 MSRP, also features seven new monster types (including three new bosses) and fourteen new items. This item will not be sold via Kickstarter, but through normal distribution channels and conventions such as SPIEL.
