Board Game: Auf Teufel komm raus
• Time to look at another batch of game preview videos, this time focusing on the new titles from German publisher Zoch Verlag. We'll start with Auf Teufel komm raus from the mother/daughter design team of Tanja and Sara Engel. In its press material, Zoch was playing up the contrast of the Engels – which is German for "angels" – designing a game themed on the Teufel – German for "devil". Unless the next game they design is titled "Satanlovers", though, I'm not going to make too much of the connection.


Board Game: Potato Man
• Potato Man from designers Günter Burkhardt and Wolfgang A. Lehmann is a trick-taking game, and like all trick-taking games, it has its own twist to the genre, namely that each color of card can be played in a trick only once (except with five players when one color can be repeated).


Board Game: Mucca Pazza
• Designer/artist Iris Rossbach has two titles in the early 2013 line-up from Zoch, both involving animals that are split into thirds and both with titles that mean "Crazy Cow" in a non-German language. Curious. Here's Mucca Pazza, which is aimed at the younger crowd.


Board Game: Vaca Loca
• And the other "Crazy Cow" game is Vaca Loca, which is for ages 8 and up and which has players trying to slap animals in the face. No, really!
