Board Game: La Boca
• The game previews from Nürnberg 2013 continue, with half – yes, only half – of the videos that we recorded at the Kosmos stand, starting with Inca and Markus Brand's La Boca, which I (perhaps foolishly) called out as my choice for SdJ 2013 winner despite having only a short description of the game. After the demo, though, I'm sticking with my pick. Now to actually play the game and see what I've committed to...


Board Game: Ubongo: Das Würfelspiel
• Ubongo: Das Würfelspiel is the latest iteration of Grzegorz Rejchtman's Ubongo series of games, and the game explanation takes just about as much time as it takes to read this paragraph. We probably should have zoomed a bit for this video and gone with floating hands rather trying to fit both of us in the shot. The game looks so tiny!


Board Game: Asante
• Rüdiger Dorn returns to the Jambo universe with Asante, which can be played on its own or combined with the original game.


Board Game: Simsala Hopp
• The Brands have another release from Kosmos in early 2013, the game Simsala Hopp, which could be (and is) tagged as a children's game but it also falls into the category of "late night stupid fun when you're too tired to play anything else".
