Board Game: Gauntlet of Fools
• Jeremiah Lee from Indie Boards and Cards talks about Donald X. Vaccarino's Gauntlet of Fools, while seeming incredibly blasé about dying. He also proudly bears his Golden Geek award for the 2012 best print-and-play board game – Zombie in my Pocket – as voted on by BGG users. Makes more sense than putting it in an award case at home, I suppose.

Board Game: 7 Wonders: Cities
• Thomas Provoost, half of the Belgian-Mexico team from Repos Production, gives a rundown of 7 Wonders: Cities, which blew out 200 copies in an hour at Gen Con 2012, then a couple of restocks after that. With my prompting, he also makes an appeal to game designers who have something unusual to offer, then closes with a teaser for Spiel 2012.

Board Game: City of Horror
• Provoost also details how Repos approached the redesign of Nicolas Normandon's Mall of Horror into City of Horror, taking what the designer initially offered and going far beyond that to make CoH its own game. Copies were supposed to be available at Gen Con 2012, but some of the boards were bowed, so Asmodee didn't want to sell them and risk people being disgruntled. (Of course they were instead disgruntled due to the game not being available but still...)

One thing I didn't realize earlier – and I've now adjusted the game listing to reflect this – is that City of Horror includes rules in French, German and Spanish in addition to English.

Board Game: 3012
• In addition to the previously covered DC Comics DBG, Cryptozoic Entertainment had a second deck-building game on display at Gen Con 2012, with a small number of copies of 3012 also being for sale. Developer Dan Clark gives an overview of the game play, and I relearn the lesson of having the game board set up for the demo before you start filming anything.
