Do You See What You Think You Saw in Rear Window?
In addition to all of the titles I covered in February 2022, U.S. publisher Funko Games has one other release due out in Q2 2022 from the ever-busy Prospero Hall design team — Rear Window, a co-operative game for 3-5 players based on the 1954 film Rear Window from director Alfred Hitchcock.

Board Game: Rear Window

Here's an overview of the setting and gameplay:
Quote:
Experience Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece film Rear Window in a game of deduction and suspense. Carefully observe strange clues and ominous patterns in the things going on in the apartments across the way. There are parties, knives, a saw, bickering, laughing, music...and a mysterious trunk. Do you detect a murder? Or is the secret, private world of the neighbors planting frightening ideas in your mind?

In the Rear Window game, one player takes the role of director Alfred Hitchcock — the "Master of Suspense" — and communicates via building windows clues and signs for the other players without ever uttering a word, ideally giving them enough to go on that they can figure out who the murderer is — or whether a murder even took place.

Board Game: Rear Window

If a murderer is out there, you need to nail down all eight attributes of that person by the end of four rounds without them catching on to what you see and know.
This title seemed like a odd one in the Funko Games catalog given that it's based on an IP decades older than most everything else that the company adapts to tabletop — yet it's also in the Funko wheelhouse in that the designers are creating a game out of something that was very much not a game so that you can now live that experience from another medium.

And naturally you start wondering what else might appear on the tabletop from Alfred Hitchcock's oeuvre...
