Board Game: Baseball Highlights: 2045
• In addition to Pandemic: The Cure, which I've already previewed on BGG News, at BGG.CON 2013 I was able to check out at a number of other future game releases. Even better, I recorded demonstrations of those games so that you can get a taste for what's coming.

To start with, we have Mike Fitzgerald's Baseball Highlights: 2045 from Eagle Games. He mentioned afterward that he's been trying to sell one baseball game or another for two decades, so he was incredibly excited to demonstrate this design, as is evident on the video.

Board Game: Argent: The Consortium
• Designer Trey Chambers went into detail about his Argent: The Consortium, which publisher Level 99 Games started a Kickstarter project for during BGG.CON 2013 — and while that seems ludicrous to me in terms of the work involved, apparently everything has worked out just fine for them as the project is fully funded with a month still to go on the timer. I'm not sure whether the close-ups work well for you in terms of showing off the artwork, but I'm always struck by the pure stylishness in Brad Talton's releases from Level 99 with everyone looking like less-muscular and more naturalistically-colored versions of characters from Fist of the North Star. (Well, that's what I think of in any case.)

Board Game: BattleCON: Devastation of Indines
• While not quite an upcoming release, as Kickstarter backers have received their copies, Level 99 Games' BattleCON: Devastation of Indines from designer/publisher D. Brad Talton Jr. hits retail outlets in December 2013. Here Talton exhibits the frenetic energy of the game in his demonstration, giving a clear sense of the origins of the game's vibe.
