The effects of wind direction and strength of the wind are carefully explained to make for a more detailed and accurate simulation. Crews must deal with sail handling to maneuver into combat.'
A first edition was printed in 1978 with a second edition printed in 1983. The FGU edition was printed in conjunction with their Privateers & Gentlemen role playing game.
