Alfons Åberg is the main character in a series of very popular children’s books from Sweden.
The players play catch and seek and when there is only one player left on the board, that player wins the game. Each player has four wooden pieces that are moved round and round on the board. If you end up on the same space as another player you catch that players piece. Some spaces are marked as hiding places, if you end up on the same hiding place as another player you have to pick up a card from the draw pile and if the card has a picture of the same character you are trying to catch, that players piece is caught.
