A card game inspired by the imagery of traditional Portuguese tales and studied in order to stimulate creativity and love for reading. Aimed at parents, educators, psychologists and therapists of children between 8 and 12 years, according to a concept experienced students in the preparatory cycle.
The cards are divided into seven groups, eleven cards each: human characters, animal characters, spaces, magical objects, actions, key words and characterizations.
The players make groups of 1 to 4 persons maximum.
Each group pick one card of the seven types.
They should invent a story with the cards they have in hand and present it to the other groups.
Whjen all the stories are finnaly presented, each person or group must choose their favourite story. They can not vote for their own story. Each card left out is deducted from the story poins and the winner is the group/person with the most points.
A second way to play the game is sorting out only the word cards. They are shuffled and the top card revealed. Each person writes down the most synonyms and antonyms for that word card. The winner is the person who writes the most synonyms or anonyms on a selected number of cards.
