Our new boardgame 'Struggle for Europe' portrays in a realistic way the events which took place in Europe and Northern Africa between 1939 and 1945. But our game contains much more than this. It also gives the opportunity to carry through actions which did not happen, for example - The Germans' landing in England or the breaking through of the Allies in the Balkans.
Moreover, 'Struggle for Europe' actually includes 8 games in one:Each of the above has 2 versions, one for beginners and one for advanced players.
The game is played on a mapboard printed on both sides.
The conditions for victory of the different participating countries (i.e. players) vary, for example, Italy could remain neutral and still win the game, even if the Allied troops occupy Berlin.
All the elements of warfare can be found in this game - infantry, armed troops, navy, airforce, paratroops, bombers, artillery*, planes and submarines represented by about 200 markers. The battles are settled in a simple and clearly defined way. Long-term strategic planning plays an important role and players are also obliged to make decision in financial matters.
[*There are no artillery pieces in the game. It is only mentioned in the English description, probably by mistake.]
