In Project Universe, players act as branch managers of a space transport company, competing over three rounds to achieve the highest performance.

Each round, players cycle between Earth and Space. On Earth, you play Action cards to gain orders, produce resources, invest in head office facilities, hire new actions, and upgrade your rocket’s engines and cargo capacity. Every decision shapes how efficiently your operation can run.

When you launch, the game shifts into space. Movement costs workforce, cargo space is limited, and only loaded resources can be used. Reach space stations to fulfill orders, trigger station effects, and complete additional objectives for extra rewards.

A shared Time Track drives constant pressure. Conferences push time forward, and once overtime begins, every action costs money. Fail to meet deadlines and unfinished orders become penalties.

After the third round, players score from completed orders, investments, remaining resources, card bonuses, and suffer losses from failed deliveries. The branch manager with the highest total performance becomes the winner.
