Plutôt mort que Perse ! (Rather dead than Persian !) depicts the Persian wars in Greece between 490 and 480 BC at three months per turn. Each turn one has a randomly-determined number of action points which one spends by activating individual generals/admirals and their commands. The game also features a number of "strategem" chits, allowing special actions (Treason, Reconnaissance, Storms at Sea, etc). There are three scenarios, covering the Ionian revolt against Persia and each of the two Persian Wars.
As with all Vae Victis games, counters must be cut out and mounted, and the rules are in French only (although translations are available online).
This issue also includes counters and army lists for Champs de Battaille (for the Normans and Saxons at Hastings) and errata counters for Issue 48.
