Board Game: AquaSphere
• Designer Stefan Feld didn't have quite as dominating a year in 2014 as he did in 2013, but how could he when he had four giant designs from four publishers come out that year? For 2014, Feld was present on the market in only half as many games: the slimmed-down La Isla from frequent publishing partner alea and the more elaborate AquaSphere from developer Ralph Bruhn of Hall Games and Hall's frequent publishing partner Pegasus Spiele.

Board Game: Cargotrain
• I mentioned the ever-swelling number of Polish game publishers in yesterday's Spiel 2014 video round-up, and here's yet another example of that growth: Cargotrain from newcomer Game Fabrica and designer Krzysztof Matusik. Wait? Him again?! Yes, Matusik had two titles from new publisher Bomba Games as well as this card game, which he explains here:

Board Game: Urban Panic
• You might want to brace yourself as this next video features yet another design from Krzysztof Matusik: Urban Panic from the non-new Polish publisher G3.

Board Game: Memorable Stories
• G3 had a trio of new games at Spiel 2014, including the party game-ish Memorable Stories from designer Piotr Siłka in which you're trying to create just that.

Board Game: Imperialism: Road to Domination
• The final new title from G3 is Konrad Perzyna's Imperialism: Road to Domination, which certainly sounds brutal from the title. (My frequent mistyping — "Toad to Domination", which I believe that I have caught after each occurrence — is far less threatening, unless you have issues with toads, of course.)
