Spiel 2015 Preview: Fram R'lyeh, or Say It, Don't Spray It as You Descend into Madness
Board Game: Fram R'lyeh
At this point, Cthulhu in the game industry is like oxygen in the atmosphere — present in 21% of the environment, yet seemingly even more omnipresent given all the attention it gets.

Even so, I can't recall Cthulhu or his chthonic cronies showing up in a trick-taking game until the release of Fram R'lyeh from designer rerasiu and publisher BakaFire Party — and this isn't so much a trick-taking game as it's a bidding game with the feel of trick-taker. (Or is trick-taking just a subsection of the vast game mechanism known as "bidding" and I never previously noticed? Something to think about tonight when you tire of counting Great Old Ones in a failed effort to fail asleep.)
