If you are a publisher or designer and you plan to feature new games at Spiel 2014 — whether published or in prototype form — please don't delay in sending me information or getting your games added to the BGG database. If you need guidelines for doing this, check out this wiki page for a guide to how p. and d. can use BGG, starting with how to enter designers, artists, publishers and games in the BGG database. After all, the closer we get to October 16, the greater the backlog to get through all the submissions and the less time I'll have to review and polish such material.
As I've done in previous years, I'll be working with designers and publishers to publish a number of diaries about the games they'll be debuting at the show, and I'll be previewing a number of titles sent to me in advance. I can't guarantee coverage in terms of either a diary or a game preview, but if you're interested in talking about one thing or another, feel free to contact me at the email address in the BGGN header and we'll take things from there.
Thus begins the onslaught...
