• I saw Suz Sheldon mention that NSKN Games would reprint Tony Boydell's Snowdonia with this being "a DELUXE edition that includes previously published expansions" with "new content as well" — but I saw nothing about this on any forum run by NSKN, so I wrote them to double-check on this. Andrei Novac confirmed the news, noting that the publisher plans to run a Kickstarter campaign for this new edition in mid-2018 for a street date of early 2019, "with current plans pointing to a GAMA release, to be confirmed in late fall [2018]."
Novac says that this edition will contain component upgrades as well as some amount of new art, but "it is a bit too early to confirm which parts of the graphics will be enhanced." As for what will be in the box, he says, "we plan to include as many existing expansions as backers would allow it, with the exception of exclusive promos such as those for Jack Vasel Memorial Fund."
Boydell has detailed in a BGG post which Snowdonia expansions and promos might be included in this new edition. He also mentioned new items that might be included in this edition, such as a double-sided game board with an alternate layout. Novac confirms that new content will be in this new edition of Snowdonia, but not what it might be. That said, he adds, "Current owners of the game will not be left out as all new content will also be available separately from the deluxe edition."
• So what were those other threads I mentioned? NSKN Games has set a tentative release date of June 2018 for Błażej Kubacki's Chronicles of Frost, which was Kickstarted in late 2017. This adventure game can be played competitively or cooperatively with 1-4 players, and it's set in the same universe as Mistfall, Heart of the Mists, and Shadowscape.
• This game will be followed in November 2018 by All That Burns, an expansion for Chronicles of Frost that consists of a five-scenario cooperative campaign for 1-4 players.
• NSKN is Kickstarting Dávid Turczi's Dice Settlers through late March 2018 — video preview here on BGG — with this title scheduled to debut in Europe at SPIEL '18 in October.
• Another SPIEL '18 release from NSKN is Teotihuacan: City of Gods from Daniele Tascini, co-designer of Tzolk'in and The Voyages of Marco Polo
In Teotihuacan: City of Gods, each player commands a force of worker dice, which grow in strength with every move. On your turn, you move a worker around a modular board, always choosing one of two areas of the location tile you land on: one offering you an action (and a worker upgrade), the other providing you with a powerful bonus (but without an upgrade).
While managing their workforce and resources, players develop new technologies, climb the steps of the three great temples, build houses for the inhabitants of the city, and raise the legendary and breath-taking Pyramid of the Sun in the centre of the city.
Each game is played in three eras. As the dawn of the Aztecs comes closer, player efforts (and their ability to feed their workforce) are evaluated a total of three times. The player with the most fame is the winner.
• Finally, for now, in the first half of 2019 NSKN will have a new game from Nigel Buckle titled Imperium, with this being a civilization-building game set in ancient times centered around a clever deck-building mechanism. In the game, each player leads one of the iconic great powers of antiquity — from Greeks and Romans to Celts and Egyptians — aiming to turn their tribe into a great empire.
