New Game Round-up: Ambassadors for Madeira, Mages for Mage Wars & WizKids for Germans

• WizKids Games has announced a partnership agreement with Asmodee Germany to release German language editions of Mage Knight Board Game, Quarriors!, Star Trek: Attack Wing and Attack Wing: Dungeons & Dragons. No release dates were given for these German-language editions.

• Italian publisher What's Your Game? has a microexpansion for Nuno Bizarro Sentieiro and Paulo Soledade's Madeira due out in May 2014, with Madeira: The Ambassadors consisting of four new tiles that bring four new guild favors to the game that are all related to the colonies. Rules will be in English with other languages still to be determined. What's Your Game? plans to run a giveaway contest for this expansion through its Facebook page, with the expansion being available for purchase later through WYG and the BGG store.

Board Game: Mage Wars: Forged in Fire – Spell Tome Expansion
• In June 2014, Arcane Wonders plans to release Mage Wars: Forged in Fire, a spell tome expansion for Mage Wars that includes two new mages — the Adramelech Warlock and the Warlord of the Anvil Throne — and 41 new spells across 158 spell cards. Arcane Wonders has been previewing new cards from this expansion on the BGG Mage Wars page under "News" and on its Facebook page.

Arcane Wonders also plans to release a second Mage Wars: Action Marker Set in June 2014, with players now having gray and purple markers at hand.

• Z-Man Games will release Martin Kallenborn and Matthias Prinz's Helios, due out from Hans im Glück in Germany in April 2014, in late Q2 or early Q3 2014.

• Designer Michael Schacht has made half of Han — his 2014 remake of China — available for play free on his website, Boardgames-Online.net. In particular, the "Ways of Diplomacy" game board, designed for 2-4 players, can now be played in addition to the thirteen other versions of China already available on that site.
