Lost Cities Returns to the U.S. Market; Other Kosmos Titles to Appear, Too

Reiner Knizia's Lost Cities, a long-time introductory item to modern game design on the U.S. market, has been out of print for a few years, but now original German publisher KOSMOS is bringing the game back to print in the U.S., with this version due to hit shelves in March 2015. I don't know whether the interior components have changed in any way, but I'll visit KOSMOS during NY Toy Fair in mid-February 2015 and will post pics of the components for this game and others on BGG's Twitter feed.

In addition to Lost Cities, KOSMOS will be bringing five other titles to the U.S. market in the first half of 2015, two of which have not been released in that country. Those games are Knizia's Lost Cities: The Board Game, Günter Cornett's Kahuna, and Lauge Luchau's Dimension — all due out in March 2015 — as well as Grzegorz Rejchtman's Ubongo and Klaus Teuber's Dohdles! (an English-language version of Knätsel?!, which is a revamped Barbarossa) in May 2015.

As for what's to possibly come in the future from KOSMOS? Well, those are questions to ask at NY Toy Fair and questions for its accountants to ponder once they see how these titles do in the U.S...
