Board Game: Netrunner
• Could Netrunner, a Richard Garfield design that's one of the earliest (and best-loved) collectible-card games, be returning to print? Gamer Ludovic Schmidt has been all over the Netrunner page on BGG, as well as on Netrunneronline.com, talking about his efforts to negotiate with Wizards of the Coast for a new edition of the game and soliciting advice from gamers as to how they'd like to see the game return.

• AMIGO Spiel is holding a drawing for ten copies of the Atlantis: Ikarus expansion. Enter by December 16, 2011 for a chance to win.

• Issue #12 of the fancy-pants Dutch online gaming journal Spel in Zicht is available for download.

• BGG user pratchettfan777 – real name Brett – has a fun-to-browse gaming blog called Board Game Muse that features interviews, mini-reviews, rants and more, all wrapped in tech-savvy and creamy smooth dressing.

• French gaming site TricTrac.net has announced Troyes as the winner of the 2011 Tric Trac d'Or, an award determined by votes from the reading public. Second- and third-place, which were not that far behind first, went to Olympos and Die Burgen von Burgund.

• Japanese gaming site 4Gamer.net reports on the Fall 2011 Games Market in Asakusa, featuring lots of new Japanese games that may or may not be available in other versions or outside the country. I say this as Japon Brand's Tak is pictured playing Thunderstone, so he was likely checking out new releases for future display at Spiel.

• Designer Lewis Pulsipher offers an interesting, fist-shaking, "you kids get off my lawn" post in his BGG blog titled "Strategic Thinking Is Becoming Rare Among Game Players".

• Designer Alf Seegert is interviewed yet again about The Road to Canterbury and design in general, this time by GAMES Magazine's Thomas McDonald. Alf needs to share some of his special marketing juice with other designers...

• Online gaming site Board Game Arena has announced that Greg Daigle's Hawaii will be added to its offerings. (HT: BGG user Kaacee)

• Canadian publisher Filsofia, which acquired Z-Man Games in the middle of 2010, is looking to hire a communications/project manager. Here's a press release from the publisher about this position:

• Supports the customer service department

Qualifications:

• Pertinent formation in communications, public relations or similar domain
• 1-2 years experience in communications, media relations, events planning or related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet research and social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google +, etc.)
• Bilingual (French and English), written and spoken
• Ability to write original texts and summarize projects
• Must have exemplary organizational, time and project management skills to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting short deadlines
• Possess great communication skills and capacity to adapt to change
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Available to work occasionally on nights and weekends
