Board Game: Tweegles
• Time for three more game demonstration videos from NY Toy Fair 2013, all from French publisher Cocktail Games this time, with Cocktail's Matthieu d'Epenoux demoing the games. I'm continually amazed by the success of Cocktail and its ability to pack so much fun in its line of "Jeux de Poche" – a.k.a., pocket games – but watching d'Epenoux demo, it's clear that he's the model customer for the Cocktail line.

In any case, here's an overview of how to play Jérémie Caplanne and Pascal Jumel's Tweegles, co-published with Moonster Games in August 2012.

• I'm almost embarrassed to post this video given how badly we both play during a round of Carlo Emanuele Lanzavecchia's Thématik, but here it is anyway for your entertainment.

Board Game: Casse-toi Pov'con!
• Matthieu had forgotten his prototype copy of Charles Chevallier's Ici Londres in his hotel room, but we talked about the game anyway, then sequed into a brief discussion of Casse-toi Pov'con!, another title that he had requested of a designer (similar to Ici Londres). Maybe that's the secret to finding games that you want to play – telling designers what you want, then paying them to publish their designs!
