Board Game: Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Kampf um Malastare
• Okay, now that I'm finally back from travel/vacation time following attendance at NY Toy Fair in mid-February 2013, it's time to start wrapping up the video coverage from Nürnberg 2013 – you know, that convention before the New York one. Of course no one told us that we had to record 80+ videos in Nürnberg; we just took it upon ourselves to do so, and now we're cursed with the plethora of previews thereby created.

Moving on, let's post another quartet of previews featuring new titles from German publisher Kosmos, starting with Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Kampf um Malastare, which brings a tiddlywinks attack mode to the Star Wars universe.

(Bonus trivia item: We were racing through this demo and several others in the Kosmos booth as we literally had almost no time to record anything. After this video, the camera noted that we had 0 minutes of recording time available. Guess that's a wrap!)


Board Game: Star Wars: Bounty Hunter – Das Würfelspiel
• Kosmos had one other Star Wars title on its early 2013 release schedule: Star Wars: Bounty Hunter - Das Würfelspiel, a title that also fits into its line of tiny square dice games and its other line of "children pretending to be evildoers but only in service of matching the game theme". Hmm, next year I'll have to keep in mind which side of the table the demoer should stand on so that we can see her face – either that or I'll have to get Katharina to whip her hair.


Board Game: Kreuzwort
• Another title in Kosmos' tiny dice line is Kreuzwort from designers Bernhard Lach and Uwe Rapp, and with "Kreuzwort" being German for "crossword" you can get a sense of how to play the game simply from knowing those small details. For those who want more, let's go to the videotape...


Board Game: Dice Devils
• In addition to its smaller line of dice games, Kosmos throws dice some big box love, too, with Reinhard Mensen's Dice Devils being one such title coming in 2013. Love those dice cups!
