Board Game: Endeavor: Age of Expansion
Board Game: Merlin: Knights of the Round Table
• The new edition of Endeavor: Age of Sail released in 2018 by Burnt Island Games and Grand Gamers Guild has been a huge critical success, and in mid-June 2019 the publisher will launch a crowdfunding campaign for Endeavor: Age of Expansion from co-designer Jarratt Gray. Nice job of fitting the word "expansion" into the title in a meaningful way!

As for what's in the box, this expansion will include seven decks of asset cards and a new set of buildings. In the publisher's words: "The new building market creates a totally different strategic experience within the same rule set. Most of the actions on the buildings are familiar, but new concepts include trade, fortify, and conscription & mobilization." Burnt Island Games plans to run demos of Endeavor: Age of Expansion at the 2019 Origins Game Fair, which takes place June 12-16.

• A similarly small expansion is coming from Queen Games for Merlin from Stefan Feld and Michael Rieneck, with Merlin: Knights of the Round Table due to debut at Gen Con 2019 in August.

The expansion consists of twelve knights, each with a unique power, and at the start of play each player receives two knights, either at random or via a draft. Use your knights whenever they best suit you in your quest to succeed King Arthur. That's it!

Board Game: Inis: Seasons of Inis
Board Game: Captain Sonar: Operation Dragon
• French publisher Matagot debuted the Seasons of Inis expansion for Christian Martinez' Inis in France in May 2019, with release dates for the rest of the world still not yet announced as far as I can tell.

As for what's inside the box, Seasons of Inis includes new action cards, components for a fifth player (as the original game was for 2-4 players), six new territories, and the "seasons wheel", which brings "new modalities of victory". In this BGG thread, French BGG user Fab C details all the elements of the expansion in text and pictures.

• Another expansion coming from Matagot, with Pegasus Spiele releasing the item in German in May 2019, is Captain Sonar: Operation Dragon, the second expansion for Roberto Fraga and Yohan Lemonnier's Captain Sonar. This expansion includes four new modules in the "Custom Pack" toolbox, including "Armada" mode, new second stations, and new mechanics stations.

Aside from that, the expansion features "Operation Dragon" campaign mode: Teams can play seven consecutive missions on ever-new nautical charts, using expert characters with abilities exclusive to them to make it through this adventure. The result of each game affects the next mission...
