Dogfight over England in Undaunted and in Space in Ascending Empires

Dogfight over England in Undaunted and in Space in Ascending Empires
• UK publisher Osprey Games and designers Trevor Benjamin and David Thompson are expanding their Undaunted game series to a new dimension — the third! — in Undaunted: Battle of Britain, a two-player-only game due for release in Q2 2023.

Here's an overview of the setting:
Quote:
The RAF faces the Luftwaffe in this two-player deck-building game of aerial WWII combat.

Board Game: Undaunted: Battle of Britain

Summer, 1940. The German war machine has rolled through the continent in less than a year, crushing all before it. Britain is all that stands in the way of German victory in Europe. Command the pilots of the battle-tested Luftwaffe who are looking to extinguish all resistance and pave the way to invasion, or the resourceful and determined RAF opposing them at every turn.

Undaunted: Battle of Britain is a standalone game in the ''Undaunted'' series, adapting the core gameplay of the previous games to recreate the dynamic dogfighting of aerial combat. Maintain cohesion between your pilots, evade anti-aircraft artillery, and leverage talented aces to win the battle for the skies!
Board Game: Ascending Empires
• Should you favor shootouts among the stars, you can instead consider Ascending Empires: Zenith Edition from designers Ian Cooper and Jan M. Gonzalez, with this Q3 2023 release from WizKids being an updated version of 2011's Ascending Empires from Cooper and Z-Man Games.

Here's the pitch for this 2-4 player disc-flicking game:
Quote:
The last survivors of the human race have fled to a new galaxy in fear of annihilation at the hands of an unstoppable enemy. Now, having discovered the ruins of four long dead civilizations spread across the stars, a race to develop technology based on these alien relics has begun. Humans will once again ascend to the stars to claim the galaxy.

Board Game: Ascending Empires: Zenith Edition

In Ascending Empires: Zenith Edition, you explore new planets by flicking your ships into space, expanding your colonies by delving deeper into the expanse and exploiting planets for resources. Naturally, as your civilization grows and competes for territory with others, players will seek to exterminate their opponents through clever combat.
