Korsoun 1944 is a World War 2 wargame that covers the Korsun-Cherkassy pocket, in which two German army corps were encircled by the Soviets in January-February 1944. One player controls the Soviets and tries to close the pocket, while the other one controls the Germans.
Published in Vae Victis magazine #72 (Jan-Feb 2007 issue).
Components include:
- the magazine including wargaming & historical articles, plus the Rules in French;
- One A2 size colour mapsheet (41.5 x 59 cm; 16 x 23 inches);
- Two thin cardboard NON-die-cut countersheets, one for the front side, one for the back side, which need to be cut out and stuck together.
