"Keks" is the German word for "cookie, cracker"; actually it's derived from "cakes", yet "Keks" is singular.
Keks is a tile removal game for 2 players. It's designed for nestorgames' game system Nestortiles.
To play this little game arrange all 60 tiles in a square of 8x8 leaving out the corners (this is the "keks").
If it's your turn, break off any same-color tiles that have at least 2 open edges. But never break the whole keks into pieces! Each tile is worth one point, except the very first tile of a certain color, which counts zero points. As soon as you collect 3 same-color tiles (of value), you won that color, except for the very first color, which is won in the game. This color counts - again - zero points.
You win the game by winning the fifth color.
Happy keksing!
