Finity is an abstract strategy game based on finite state machines.

The board is made up of interlocking hexagonal "stations". The goal of the game is to create a path of bridges from station to station that matches a randomly selected shared binary pattern, while protecting your own path from sabotage by other players and while looking for ways to attack your opponents' paths.

Players take turns positioning black and white bridge arrows (shared resources) or their own player pieces. Player rings may only be placed where a legal partial path leads from the player's own base post. If an opponent undermines this path, the player's rings are removed from the board.

The game is dynamic, deeply strategic, and highly competitive. In the 3 and 4 player variations, additional strategic aspects of forming temporary alliances or fomenting discord between one's opponents also become important aspects of the game play.
