Under the concept "Playing with Art", Rui Alípio Monteiro came up with Covert, a game that is based on the Rock, Scissor, Paper game. The "Thread" has been added to balance things out. Although mainly for kids, this is a great game to be played by adults alike.
The idea is to make kids become familiar with geometric shapes and colours as well as doing basic maths at the same time.
- The Scissor wins against both the Thread and the Paper.
- The String wins against both the Rock and the Paper.
- The Paper wins against the Rock
- The Rock wins against the Scissor
So, according to the power of each object, these are worth either 1 or 2 Points. Each shape appears several times, so players will be able to make calculated guesses on what would be the best piece to play at a given time. The stakes increase if both players play the same piece simultaneously, since these will accumulate to the Victory Points.
