This game is the predecessor of the well known game The Mob/Capone.
It was first time presented 1987 at the legendary "death row" of the London Toys and Games Fair.
Game components are of a very high standard regarding there were only few copies released: 4 x 8 large wooden and brightly colored discs, each depicting another different family member and -car with a colored sticker fixed to it,32 wooden hood pieces (German "Poeppel"), 56 colored racket cards, 40 gold bars (bankroll chips), a lot of play money and a large, colorful gameboard with comic-like drawings.
Added is a Mafia book containing the stories of real family members in the year of 1931, fixed with the some drawings you find on the member discs.
Game-play is nearly the same as in The Mob: Many cards for only some places to conquer, but nobody knows how much are at the same time in play!
Possibilities to invest in legal businesses or to send an opponent to the fishes (cement boots are replaced by an offer from the Colt Company which you can't refuse...)are also presented.
Players are on the run for the gold bars and to be the first to amass 10 of them!
