Advanced Premier Soccer (2021)

Advanced Premier Soccer is a dice-driven simulation of English Premier League soccer based on actual league and player statistics and suitable for either solitaire or competitive play. Advanced Premier Soccer upgrades and expands the game system developed in the original Premier Soccer by including factors such as shot location, man marking, individual defensive ratings, professional fouls, and revised durability and fatigue rules for league play.

Players take on the role of the manager - choosing a tactical formation and playing style, selecting a lineup, determining marking priorities, making changes in personnel and/or tactics, and dealing with the issues of player discipline and fatigue. The basic unit of play is the possession - defined as a period of extended control in the opponent's half of the pitch that may result in a shot. A typical game features 30-40 possessions and takes about 40-45 minutes to complete.

All team and player ratings are based on actual statistics from the 2019-2020 EPL season. Team sets for 2020-2021 will be made available following the conclusion of the current season.
